With so many bed and breakfast options available in Blackpool there are certain criteria which lend themselves well to making the right choice. Value for money is certainly high on the list for many visitors and a high rating from Visit Britain is a good indicator of quality and services. Then there is the location, ideally close to all the great Blackpool attractions but yet with quiet, homely spaces in which to unwind and get away from it all. Thankfully, there are guest houses which meet all these criteria and more, and The Kimberley Guest House is the perfect example.
Situated in the preferred North Shore area of the town, it is just a short stroll from the Kimberley to the promenade where trams and buses, or a promenade walk will take in all the sights and attractions. Proprietors Gwyn and Maud have overseen a comprehensive refurbishment over the years to provide comfortable and well-appointed accommodation within 6 guest rooms, four of which have en suite facilities with the other two having direct access to private bathrooms. All rooms are delightfully furnished and come complete with TV, hairdryers, adjustable central heating, radio alarm clocks and tea and coffee making facilities.
Staying at the Kimberley costs from just £25 per person per night, half price for children under 12, and just £5 per night for the under 5s. Prices to stay during Blackpool Illuminations are From £27 Per Person Per Night. Families are welcome, as are couples, corporate guests and mature singles and with no stag and hen parties, everyone can enjoy some peace and quiet and the homespun hospitality as provided by Gwyn and Maude within the guest house facilities. These include the guest lounge with comfy furniture and large TV, and the dining room in which to enjoy a full cooked breakfast each morning or take away meals brought in at other times but only to be eatn in dinning room, cutlery will also be provide along with tea and coffee.
